The Baobab started out as the Milton Keynes Branch WebSite in March 2002, however, when it was discovered that there was no active WebSite for the other Branches within the United Kingdom the Branch invited other Branches to send in their Bits and Pieces to add to the WebSite, this grew and grew for the next 3 Months when the Milton Keynes Branch decided to offer the WebSite to RWAF as a National WebSite.

The Trustees of RWAF agreed to the proposal and on the 1st July 2002 THE BAOBAB became the Official WebSite of Rhodesians Worldwide in the United Kingdom.

With the first Branch formed in Ireland by Shane Rice (who says THE BAOBAB encouraged him to form the Branch) THE BAOBAB became the Official WebSite of 'Rhodesians Worldwide in the United Kingdom and Ireland)

THE BAOBAB has a wide following from around the World and receives over 300  e-mails a week.
